Netflix- The Watchers

For the Portuguese premiere of The Witcher, Netflix wanted to introduce the series through content that felt unmistakably local.

The idea was rooted in a familiar rural truth: in small Portuguese villages, nothing goes unnoticed, especially strangers. The “old ladies on the street” are the first to see, comment and spread the news.

From this cultural insight, we imagined a simple but unexpected scenario: what would happen if the Witcher passed through a Portuguese village? How would this mythical outsider be perceived through the eyes of those who know everyone and everything?

The result was a piece of locally flavoured digital content that placed a global fantasy universe inside everyday Portuguese life, using humor and cultural observation to make the premiere feel close, familiar and distinctly Portuguese.
